Dick W. Koo, D.D.S.

My name is Dick Koo. I am a native Californian having grown up in the central valley, graduating from University of Pacific and then receiving my dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry in 1985.

I immediately entered active duty in the United States Navy and proudly served as a lieutenant in the Navy Dental Corp at Great Lakes Naval Base and aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise, providing dental care for military personnel and their families. After the military, I settled down in the south bay in 1989 and have been providing dental care here since then.

The staff in our office are like a family and we feel that our patients are a part of our 'Family' too. We provide a comfortable, friendly, and clean place with new technology to help you with any of your dental needs. I stay informed and on top of what's new by attending continuing education classes and participating as a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara County Dental Society.

Away from dentistry, I continue to support my two wonderful daughters as they strive to find success in the entertainment industry. In my free time, I like to putter around my garden, do volunteer work, cheer on my teams, and relax with friends and family.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Koo for about 30 years. We plan to remain his patients for another 30 or so - if we make it to 100! Dr. Koo will have to retire before we will change dentists.

I've seen Dr. Koo three times now and my teeth have never felt or looked better! I will say that I've never been more confident and felt more at home than I do with Dr. Koo. I believe that he really cares about his patients, this is a major plus for me considering some of my past dental experiences with other dentists. The first time I went in he repaired some poor dental work I had done by another dentist. This was a big problematic area for me but he accessed the issue and I've had no problem since. Recently, Dr. Koo recommended I explore a whitening procedure (I DRINK WAY TOO MUCH COFFEE) and after I was finished the process my teeth literally have never looked better! Highly recommend this office, front desk staff is super awesome too!

Let me start off by saying that I have been seeing Dr. Koo for over 25 years now and I don't ever plan on seeing anyone else. Over the years Dr. Koo and his staff (from the front desk to his dental assistants) have been courteous, caring, and extremely helpful to my entire family and I. From the latest equipment, to years of knowledgeable experience, there has never been a dental issue that Dr. Koo has not been able to assist me with.

The entire staff is not only friendly but very informative and helpful. They all work together very well to keep the appointments, service, and overall practice running smooth. They will do their absolute best to accommodate your schedule when making appointments and will work with you to find a time that works best.

Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the service, support, and care that Dr. Koo and his staff have provided me over the years. My family and I are truly grateful to have such a knowledgeable, professional, and friendly dentist that we have been fortunate enough to be able to count on for over 25 years.

Our family has gone to Dr. Koo's office for over 20 years. From everyone in the front office to Dr. Koo himself, we are greeted warmly and treated with TLC. Cindy and Bobbie take care of our appointments and finances and Mari is the best in preventive care. The entire staff works well as a team.
